Highlife musician, Flavour, has released a gospel album that must have come as a surprise to a lot of people who thought Flavour could only do secular songs and would just throw in a gospel track on an album to complete it or to thank God for the production. The album was done in collaboration with visually impaired Liberian boy by name Semah G. Weifur.
Semah met Flavour on March 19th, 2017. Before then he had only listened to him on the radio and dreamed of meeting him. He joined Flavour in the studio in May for the recording of their first collabo titled “Most High”. Flavour’s studio effort with Semah, seven tracks in total, make up the album Divine.
The album is made up of 7 soulful songs that awaken you to the greatness and sovereignty of God. It preaches patience and reliance on God’s unparalleled ability to bring all things to perfection when the time is right. “Most High” and “Power and Glory” are unarguably the most popular tracks on the album and had taken the airwaves by storm over the past few months.
All the songs on the album were composed by Flavour, Semah and Masterkraft, while production credit goes to Masterkraft and Jaystuntz.
