  All is primed for the highly anticipated Fidelity International Trade and Creative Connect (FITCC) event, heading to Houston, Texas, in the United States.

Branded as FITCC Houston, the event’s second edition is scheduled for October 24–25, 2023, at the George R. Brown Convention Center, 1001 Avenida de las Americas. After the successful maiden edition last November in London, where deals worth over $200 million were sealed, Fidelity Bank is gearing up for another edition of this globally recognized expo. This year’s event follows its tradition of championing Nigeria’s non-oil exports and enhancing integration into global supply-chain networks.

Nneka Onyeali-Ikpe, Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Fidelity Bank Plc, expressed the bank’s unwavering commitment to supporting export trade. She emphasized that the bank consistently demonstrates this commitment through interventions and innovative approaches in the sector. She mentioned that key interventions include the Export Management Programme (EMP), a collaboration with the Lagos Business School and the Nigerian Export Promotion Council (NEPC), and market access development initiatives like FITCC. Over two days, attendees will have the chance to explore exhibitions by some of Nigeria’s most prominent businesses operating in diverse sectors such as commodities, agriculture, FINTECH, fashion, arts, and related industries.

Furthermore, several panel discussions will convene across various halls, featuring stakeholders and leaders from the business, regulatory, and investment sectors in the US and Nigerian economies. These discussions will revolve around bilateral trade opportunities.
