Nigeria U-20 Men’s football team, the Flying Eagles, scored four goals in an impressive second-half against Korea in New Plymouth to secure their first win of the FIFA U-20 World Cup. Nigeria opened the scoring through Saviour Godwin when he beat the oncoming keeper with a header. He grabbed a brace and the team’s second three-minutes later; coolly finishing a one-on-one with the Korean keeper. Kingsley Sokari scored the third with a 30-yard bullet in the 71st minute before Success Isaac completed the rout with his second goal of the tournament. Nigeria need a win in their final Group E fixture against Hungary to ensure qualification to the next round. Both teams have three points but Hungary have a better goal difference, despite going down 2-1 to Brazil. Brazil have already qualified following wins over Nigeria and Hungary, and will play their final Group E game against the Koreans.
