Eyimba, FC Ifeanyi Ubah Set To Receive N43m Each
Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) sides, Eyimba International and FC Ifeanyi Ubah will both receive their fair share of the spoils for the participation of goalkeeper Ikechukwu Ezenwa. Ezenwa was the only player from the NPFL that was included in coach Gernot Rohr’s 23-man list, and though the goaltender was not in action for the Super Eagles at the World Cup, he was a crucial part of Nigeria’s qualification campaign. The player was on the books for FC Ifeanyi Ubah prior to his move to Eyimba right before the World Cup. And, for his days in Russia, Ezenwa accumulated a total of $237,720, which was paid to the Nigeria Football Federation. According to reports, both Eyimba and Ifeanyi Ubah split the money, and receive $118,860 apiece.Featured Image Source: ACL Sports
