Nigeria’s Federal Government has relaunched the registration platform for the 2025 Youth Economic Intervention and De-Radicalisation Program (YIEDEP)—a national scheme created to support young Nigerians through entrepreneurial development, skills training, and business funding opportunities.

The YIEDEP initiative offers financial support between ₦50,000 and ₦500,000, with the goal of transforming young people from employment seekers into employment providers, thereby driving economic development, fostering national progress, and enhancing security.
YIEDEP represents a youth-focused economic empowerment strategy that delivers funding access, skills development, and guidance to boost young people’s involvement in Nigeria’s economic landscape.
By providing focused entrepreneurial assistance, the program works to lower joblessness, reduce family-level poverty, and provide Nigerian youth with resources to create lasting income sources while promoting peace and productivity.

Applicable Sectors
Candidates may submit applications in these industries:
- Agriculture
- Fashion and Creative Industry
- Technology (ICT)
- Entertainment
- Sports
- Renewable Energy
- Other productive and emerging industries
Qualification Requirements
Applicants for the 2025 YIEDEP grant must meet these conditions:
- Hold Nigerian citizenship.
- Fall within the 18-35 age bracket.
- Have valid NIN and BVN documentation.
- Maintain a banking relationship with Lotus Bank, Keystone Bank, or Fidelity Bank.
- Demonstrate engagement in or intent to work within approved business categories.
- Commit to attending training and mentorship programs.
