Studio 306 Collectives
Studio 306 Collectives offers a creative space for those who are recovering from and living with mental health challenges. They also help people with severe mental illness. The major activity of the organization is to empower disadvantaged individuals who live locally.
Studio 306 Collectives offers training from people with little to no
skills. They also help people recover skills lost due to mental illness. The four departments in the studio are:
sewing craft, silver jewellery, screen printing, and
ceramics. Items produced are mugs, dinnerware, earrings, greeting cards, throw-pillows, phone cases, etc.
Studio 306 encourages people to learn these skills so as to empower them and they are, thereafter, allowed to sell the items they produce, profits from sales going back into the work the collective does.
In addition to entrepreneurial skills, the intakes are provided with a social environment to help them regain their confidence and learning skills. Hence, they feel at home and safe under this project and do not have to battle with feelings of rejection.
Pamela has been invited as one of the 1,200 distinguished guests to grace the wedding ceremony of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
