Nigerian league giants, Enyimba FC of Aba, have advanced to the next round of the CAF Champions League after overturning a 1-0 first-leg away defeat to Burkina Faso side, Rahimo.
Enyimba entered the contest seeking nothing less than a two-goal advantage to triumph over the Burkinabe outfits after loosing by a lone goal in the initial contest. The game played behind closed doors inside the Enyimba International Stadium on Sunday, August 25, 2019 saw the Peoples Elephants come out with a 5-0 victory. Coach Usman Abd’Allah expressed his relief and excitement after the encounter.

With this result, the Nigerian Professional Football League champions qualified with a 5-1 aggregate victory and will confront Al Hilal of Sudan in the second qualifying round scheduled to hold on the weekends of September 13 and 27, 2019.
