Nigeria Premier Football League giants, Enyimba FC of Aba and Enugu Rangers, now know their opponents for the play-off round of the CAF Confederations Cup.

The draws were conducted on Wednesday, October 9, 2019 in Cairo, Egypt and pitched Nigerian Premier League Champions, Enyimba, against South African side, TS Galaxy; Rangers will slug it out against Togolese side ASCK.

Enyimba dropped to the CAF Confederations Cup after a 1-0 loss to Al Hilal of Sudan on in the CAF Champions League, have a better advantage going into the play-off owing to the fact that their South African opponents are debutants in the competition.

On the other hand, Rangers face a tougher test as they will be up against four-time Togolese champions ASCK. Prior to this latest return to continental football, ASCK last featured in the CAF club competition in 2008, in which they made it to the first round of the Champions League.

While Enyimba will play host to TS Galaxy in their first-leg encounter, the Flying Antelopes will travel to Togo for their first-leg match against ASCK on the weekend of October 27, 2019, with the return leg slated to hold a week later. Clubs that emerge victorious over the two-leg ties will advance to the group stage of the 2019 CAF Confederation Cup.
