Dennis, 24, joined the Vicarage Road outfit in the summer transfer window and has been praised for his decent showings for the club. The former Club Brugge of Belgium star was involved in three out of the four goals scored against Ole Gunnar Solksjaer’s managed Manchester United on Saturday. An assist from the Nigerian met Joshua King well as he handed the Claudio Ranieri side the lead early in the first half. Dennis would assist Watford’s third goal of the encounter after helping Joao Pedro make it 3-1 in the 92nd minute of the game. He wrapped up his brilliant performance with the fourth goal of the game as Watford continues to maintain a stay in the safety zone on the league log.

Claudio Ranieri featured Dennis in the centre forward role and the Nigerian had no problem with his Italian manager’s tactical move. Dennis said:
“I can play anywhere in the front three, it’s okay to me, and I did the job. I’m very happy; we deserved to win. Winning was the only thing in our heads; we kept going and got a very important three points. We kept going; I missed the chance before the penalty, I could have scored, but we kept going and I got a goal!”The striker who was ignored by Super Eagles chief coach Gernot Rohr for the November international break has now scored four times and assisted five times in his first eleven EPL games.
