The Governor of Kaduna State has replied critics over his decision to sack primary school teachers. The Kaduna State Governor Malam El-Rufai has been in the news for a while over his sack of over 21,780 teachers. This was after the conduction of a competency test for the state’s primary school teachers. The outcry after the decision had been as a result of a change in the pass mark from an agreed 60 percent to an unprecedented 75 percent.  While many had faulted the governor’s decision, the move has, however, been backed by the President of Nigeria. One of the many critics is the famous rabble-rouser, Governor Ayo Fayose, the governor of Ekiti State, who condemned the presidential support of the decision, as he made a mockery of the said decision stating that the APC governor is sacking the same people he promised to offer jobs. In a quick reply, Nasir El-Rufai announced that he is replacing unqualified persons with people trained for the job, as his major aim is to save the future of the generation.
