Program Overview
The internship initiative seeks to strengthen the talent pipeline of female professionals creating impact within Africa’s healthcare and innovation industries. Interns will receive practical exposure to meaningful projects, receive guidance from seasoned professionals through mentorship, and have the chance to support eHA’s vision of enhancing healthcare provision using technology and data-informed approaches.
Program Significance
Women continue to be significantly underrepresented in health technology leadership positions throughout many African nations. This initiative bridges that divide by providing women with practical opportunities to innovate, develop expertise, and take on leadership roles. The program strengthens professional confidence, improves career prospects, and advances gender diversity in professional environments—essential elements for driving economic prosperity and fair development.
