Ebi Atawodi is the Lagos General Manager for the taxi company, Uber. She has over ten years of experience in marketing communications, brand strategy, digital technology, product activation, brand management and corporate sponsorships. Prior to being the GM for Uber Lagos, Ebi was Head of Corporate Communications and High-Value Sponsorships at Etisalat and has been credited with creating the Etisalat Prize for Literature – Africa’s most prestigious literary prize. She has also worked as  the Head of Strategy and Business in Apple Centre, Abuja.

Ebi started her career by cofounding the technology company, Connect2Car, and London’s leading design agency, Boston and Pollitt. She has also worked on projects for Nokia, FirstBank, Booz & Company, Afren, GlaxoSmithKlein, Channel 4 and Bupa. In addition to technology, her love for photography and travel has been captured in her book Nigerians Behind the Lens, which showcases photography from Nigeria.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Electronics Engineering from the University of Nottingham and a Master’s in Computing Science from Imperial College London with a focus on Artificial Intelligence and Infographics.

Ebi Atawodi will be speaking at the LCCI ICTEL expo which will be taking place at Eko Hotels and Suites, from the 26th to 28th of July 2016.
