This seems to be the season of tech events, from one to the other and it seems to be getting better and better. The Disruptive Africa Expo is here again.
The event which held last year October is an initiative designed to provide interested developers, service providers and enterprises with the needed knowledge support and periodic hands-on training through conferences, hackathons and other events, to provide a platform to support people/business in order to maximize the opportunities in disruptive technologies and thereby foster economic growth in Africa.
It is put together by Wiretooth Technologies a Disruptive Technology consultancy firm. The event will offer participants the opportunity of receiving firsthand knowledge on disruptive technologies like Internet of Things (IoT), Big Data, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and 3D printing. Also, there will be networking with professional and experts in the field both locally and internationally.
Speakers at the event include Ben Goertzel, Chairman, Artificial General Intelligence Society; Melissa Menke, Founder/CEO at Access Afya; Les Williams, CMO, Externertworks; John Oyekan, R & D Fellow, Cranfield University; Poorna Rajesh, Solutions Architect, Wipro and many other distinguished individuals.
