Unemployment is a major challenge for Nigerian youths, with over 50% of Nigerian youths unemployed. In this light, Paradigm Initiative Nigeria (PIN), a social enterprise that connects Nigerian youths with ICT-enabled opportunities has launched an online job campaign with support from Rockefeller Foundation to connect Nigeria’s unemployed youths to digital jobs so that they can keep busy, develop skills and earn income. The aim of the campaign is to connect Nigeria’s unemployed youths with digital job opportunities and PIN will give training to nurture talents for this latest opportunity. A digital job refers to freelance work that one can do from any location via a computer (or a smartphone) with internet connection. Here are some basic requirements to enable one participate in digital jobs 1. An enabling work environment 2. An internet connection to your device of choice 3. A very good knowledge of the English language-written and spoken 4. A strong professional qualification 5.
