Books are a big part of life for most children, thanks to famous writers like Enid Blyton, Jacqueline Wilson and Roald Dahl. But did you know some kids actually wish that they could write a book? And
some have even started writing their own books. Yes! So do you want your child to become the next Chinua Achebe, William Shakespeare, Wole Soyinka of his/her generation?
The Jordan Hill CWRW 2015 ‘Magical Land of Imagination’ Summer Fun is here to help your young ones achieve this!
Highlights of the programme will include imaginative writing, spelling sprees, and a book reading session with a published author. Also inclusive are voice development and confidence building activities like song recitals, public speaking, drama and dance; art and craft activities like designing own book cover and painting own poem canvass, and a visit to a fun literary place. There will also be full mentoring from book writing to publication and launch for all discovered talents. Certificates will be given to all participants at the end of the programme.
The summer classes are open to kids aged five to 14 years (KS 1, KS 2, KS 3) , with transportation facilities available for interested individuals but at an additional cost. There are only 25 slots so hurry!
Date: Monday 10 – Friday 14 August, 2015.
Time : 10am – 3pm daily
