roundtable     The RegCharles Foundation invites all female entrepreneurs, professionals and SME owners to its annual RFEEN Female CEOs Roundtable. This year’s edition is themed “Women-owned Businesses in Nigeria: Enhancing Partnerships for Success”. The Roundtable is an interactive and issue-based business forum and serves as a high energy hub for women which serves for them as a melting point for learning, institutional engagement and collaboration. Head of the RegCharles Foundation Initiatives, a subsidiary under the RegCharles Group, Debola Deji-Kurumi spoke to Connect Nigeria on what motivated RegCharles to start the RFEEN Female CEOs Roundtable. “The CEOs Roundtable is at the heart of the work we do. We are working hard at being at the forefront of entrepreneurship education and education for women and youth across Africa, so we believe the Roundtable will further promote enterprise innovation and acceleration in Nigeria. Furthermore, it will attract over 150 business owners and professionals, mostly women, comprising a mix of young, start-up female entrepreneurs and leading key players across industries. We believe that through this business event, we will create a strong case in favour of how partnerships increase the success of women-owned and women-run businesses in Nigeria.” As one of the targeted goals of this year’s Roundtable, she said, “The RFEEN Female CEOs Roundtable will create a valuable opportunity for networking among entrepreneurs, professionals and business groups. It will stir issue-based and relevant discussions along the lines of entrepreneurship, enterprise development, business leadership and innovation particularly among female entrepreneurs, provide an interesting platform for connection, collaborations and partnership for moving a business forward and bridge the gap between the leading women entrepreneurs and key players across industries and the younger entrepreneurs starting out or in their first three years of existence.” Finally, on what women entrepreneurs participating should expect, she said, “Delegates should expect a lot of high energy discussions, honest mentoring sessions, inspiring stories of successful corporations, a time for networking and connection as well as a prime chance to showcase businesses and ideas. We encourage organizations to take up our exhibition stands, and to further open the windows leading into their businesses.” Registration for this event has started for early birds. Until the 30th of June, 2014, registering for the RFEEN Female CEOs Roundtable will only cost N5,000 for a single delegate and N20, 000 for 5 delegates from the same company or group. The standard price is N7,500. RFEEN Female CEOs Roundtable will hold on the 10th, July 2014 at 9am.
