Nigeria has been seeded in FIBA Africa Zone 3 qualifying tournament to be held in Ougadougou, Burkina Faso from October 13 to October 19.
The date of the tournament had been a conundrum after several countries complained against FIBA’s proposed Champions League format.
The qualifiers will determine the participant countries for the 2015 Africa Basketball Championships to be held in Tunisia. Nigeria has been grouped with Togo, Ghana, Benin Republic, Niger, Liberia, Cote D’Ivoire and host nation, Burkina Faso.
