Delicious buttery delight made from your favourite cereal is a yes for me. Cornflakes biscuits make for a great snack, it’s both buttery and crunchy. Here’s how you can make this at home.

Ingredients
- 125g butter
- ½ cup of Sugar
- 1 cup of flour
- ¼ cup of currants
- Pinch of salt
- 2 cups of cornflakes crushed to fine powder
- Baking powder
- Milk
- Vanilla essence
Directions
- In a bowl, combine butter, vanilla essence and sugar. Whisk till creamy.
- In another bowl, add flour, baking powder and salt. Mix very well
- Add ground corn flakes, sugar-butter mixture, mix very well
- Add milk and currants and knead the flour very well to make a soft and smooth dough
- Divide the dough into 12 equal parts, roll it up to a buns size then flatten it out to give the cookie shape. Coat the dough in corn flakes powder
- Bake the cookies in a preheated oven at 170c for 20-30 minutes
