The sixth edition of Connect Nigeria’s Writers’ Conference is set to hold one month from today, August 21, 2019. The writers’ conference, which had its inaugural edition on April 5, 2014, is part of Connect Nigeria’s corporate social responsibility objective of promoting knowledge development and skill acquisition in Nigeria. This year’s conference is targeted at emerging Nigerian writers willing to transform their writing skills into money making ventures. With the theme ‘The Business of Writing: Translating Writing Into Money,’ the program aims to promote and encourage writers in Nigeria by exposing participants to means through which their pens can earn them money.

Participants in this year’s edition will have an opportunity to form part of a writer’s community where they can exchange ideas, share valuable information, create partnerships, and also grow together. Guest speakers from various backgrounds have been invited to coach, mentor, and guide participants who will be present at the event through keynote speeches, and sharing their experiences in the writing world.

Needless to say, workshops, panels, and keynote speeches are a crucial part of this year’s program with sessions keenly focused on opportunities available in the Nigerian writing market, in order to expose participants in the meeting to everyday money-making platforms. Our speakers include:
