The Connect Nigeria
E-Business fair is a two-part event with panel discussions and exhibitions of goods and services. So far, we have talked about the knowledge you will gain by coming for this event. But you can also make some fresh cash at this event too.
Taking part in the
Exhibition positions you as a reputable brand, because your goods and or services will be displayed, alongside brands from reputable companies. No product or service is off limits, just ensure the packaging is presentable. Over the years, there have been Products and Services ranging from Banking solutions to Perfumes, Catering services, Real Estate, Online Marketing hubs, Telecomms, Fashion Houses, Beauty products, ICT solution Providers, Booksellers, Media Houses, etc. There is usually also a segment specifically for ‘
Made In Nigeria’ goods, so whatever handcraft you are good at, is also welcomed.
Since it’s inception in 2011, the following are a few of the brands have been associated with the
Connect Nigeria E-Business Fair: Leap Africa, Jiji.Ng, Olx, The Guardian, Zima Fashion, Uber, Business Day, SureGifts, DelDey, Techpoint, African Business Central, Mega Trade Fair, Lagos Chamber Of Commerce And Industry. Also associated with the E-Business Fair are FIRS, Access MBA, Artelier Lifestyle, Etisalat, Samsung, Microsoft, Photogenic Booth, Printivo, Enplug, Skye Bank, Heritage Bank, Union Bank, MasterCard, Microsoft, Google, FirstMonie, JMG, Terragon Group and Leatherworld. Not to mention, Nigeria info 99.3Fm, Bellanaija.com, IN3K8 Media and pro share, WebTV, Lights ‘N Decor, Sleek Studios, 9ce Check, TATA, Box It, Sweet Indulgence, Wichtech, Mercylink, callamessengerng.com, Megaplux, GDC, Next Day Site, TELL magazine, Tranzit.ng, Hotels.ng, Jovago, Supermart.ng and many others.
As the number of registered participants grows with each year’s events, exhibitors and sponsors are opportune to reach broader demography with their products and services. The first ever edition of the business fair was strictly a trade fair for the exhibition of products and services, and the response was met with joy. That anticipation has built over the course of the years with attendance ranging from 500 in 2011 to over 7000 as at 2016. This year, we intend to exceed 10,000 attendees thereby giving exhibitors and sponsors an opportunity to leave with substantial profits.
Due to the sheer number of persons and companies present, it is imperative to do all you can to secure a spot and make your business
stand out during the event. Here are a few suggestions:
- You can use LED lights or select certain colours to make your booth colourful and attractive.
- You can also have a video tutorial on your products to show how they function. This idea is great if you have a display screen if not, use a Laptop or an iPad.
- Make sure the percentage discount you are offering on your product/service is visible a mile away.
- Wear a branded outfit. It keeps the name of your brand engrained in people’s mind a second longer before and after they approach your booth.
- Interact with people when they stop by. It might be stressful dealing with a crowd of people but ensure you put on a smile.
Sign up to be an exhibitor or become a sponsor for this one in a kind event, and you’ll be glad you did. Registration, Sponsorship and booking of exhibition booths are ongoing. To participate, kindly log on to
