Over 27 companies are to compete for the 2015 prestigious CSR award at the 5th CSR Summit and Award 2015 organised by the publishers of the CSR Digest (magazine )- CTRU Concepts Nigeria.
The event was successfully premiered in July 2011 and the 5th edition will be held at 4 pm on Friday 18th September, 2015 at the Oriental Hotel, 3, Lekki Road, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Companies nominated for this year’s event include: Nigerian Breweries, DHL, Total Nigeria, Computer Warehouse Group, Masters Energy, GT Bank, Intels, Pan Ocean, AXA Mansard Insurance, Diamond Bank, Ascon Oil, NBC among others. All nominees have been invited to submit details of CSR projects executed between 2014 and April, 2015
The projects will be judged by a carefully chosen expert panel. The awards will recognize ingenuity, resourcefulness and self reliance. It will also identify effectiveness of CSR projects executed, sustainability and documentation of all executed projects in view.
A keynote address will be delivered by Mr. Austin Okere, the Group Managing Director of Computer Warehouse Group, on the theme of the summit which is “Achieving Future Business Focus With Vision 2020.”
