Another Nollywood movie is coming to Netflix soon!
The star-studded “Chief Daddy“, which premiered in December 2018, will be available on the streaming platform on March 15, 2019, exactly three months after its premiere in Nigeria and Ghana.
The comedy film, which critics have referred to as “the perfect holiday movie”, is about the chaos that engulfs the Beecroft household after the sudden death of their billionaire benefactor.
Its all-star cast includes Falz, Joke Silva, Kate Henshaw, Funke Akindele, Jide Kosoko, Nkem Owoh, Patience Ozokwor, MI, Richard Mofe-Damijo, Ini Edo, Zainab Balogun, Dakore Egbuson-Akande, Chioma ‘Chigul’ Omeruah, Rachel Oniga, Beverly Osu and Sola Sobowale.
The enthralling film with a total length of 120 minutes, was written by Bode Asinyanbi, directed by Niyi Akinmolayan, and produced by blockbuster film stables Ebony Life Films.
It made ₦ 115.7 million in its first 10 days in cinemas, and grossed over ₦ 250 million by the end of the next month, earning a place among the most successful Nollywood films of all time.
If you missed a chance to see it in cinemas, then you will still be able to see it on Netflix from next weekend.
