Nigerian football sensation Samuel Chukwueze has received praises from club mate and captain, Santi Cazorla, who says the forward has the potential of becoming one of the best players in the world with continuous hard work and focus.

Cazorla, who arrived Villareal after a summer switch from Arsenal, helped Chukwueze to fully settle in the first team of the La Liga side after his promotion from the youth ranks prior the start of the 2018/2019 season.

Chukwueze’s fine form for the Spanish side earned him a place in the Super Eagles squad that won bronze at the recently concluded AFCON in Egypt, scoring a goal in the quarter final match against South Africa and thrilling fans at the tournament with his exceptional skills and dribbles.

The Nigerian forward has picked up from his form last season, registering a goal in Villareal’s league opener against Granada, a match which ended in a 4-4 score line. Cazorla believes the pacy forward can score more for the club in the 2019/2020 season.

Samu is a very important player in the team with the way he plays for the good of the team. He can create and score goals. That’s a rare quality to see in a footballer of his age but he can be the best if he keeps working hard and improving in certain areas.
