You can now schedule your Uber rides ahead of time with the new “Schedule a Ride” feature from Uber. This feature has been designed to enable users book rides for up to 30 days in advance.
Before now, all you could do was book rides when you were about to proceed on the trip but from now, you can schedule a ride 15 minutes to 30 days in advance at no extra cost.
There is also an option to cancel scheduled rides any time before the intended day or time. When it’s the scheduled time, you receive notifications that your ride is on its way and also if there will be a surge in price. This feature is only available on UberX for now.
