The Aba-based side was beaten 1-0 by Al-Ahli Benghazi of Libya at the Martyrs of February Stadium on Thursday, April 22, 2021. Enyimba started the game on a bright note but failure to convert their early chances meant they will be punished by the North African side towards the end of the first half as Muttasem El Taib gifted the hosts the lead in the 40th minute of the game.
