It’s official! Brown Ideye has completed his move to Greek giants, Olympiakos from English side West Bromwich Albion.
Ideye, 26, joined West Brom in July 2014 from Dynamo Kyiv for a then club-record 10 million pounds but failed to repay the club’s faith in him, scoring just 4 goals in 26 league appearances.
The striker who has 25 international caps for Nigeria, fell out of the plans at The Hawthorns after manager Tony Pulis decided to sign strikers Rickie Lambert and Salomon Rondon from Liverpool and Zenit respectively.
The transfer of Ideye to Olympiakos was concluded in time for him to be registered for the Champions League, where Olympiakos are billed to face Bayern, Arsenal and Dinamo Zagreb in Group F.
Meanwhile, Chelsea winger, Victor Moses has joined another London club West Ham United on a season-long loan.
Moses, who has been sent out to Liverpool and Stoke City in the past two seasons, signed a new four-year deal with Chelsea before joining the Hammers on loan.
