TIME Magazine – a US Magazine with global popularity and distribution – has chosen US President Barack Obama as its Person of the Year for 2012, for what the TIME team believes was an historic reelection amidst soaring unemployment and dismal economic data. The Magazine alluded some of his first term achievements spoke to the president on what he hopes to be his legacy. President Obama was the TIME person of the year in 2008, after he was elected the first African-American to the White House. He also won the Nobel Peace Prize in 2009, and will be inaugurated for a second term in office for another four years on January 20, 2013.
