A Lagos-based IT firm, Phoster Solutions has created a free app, ARPPY, to enhance church communications and multiply church growth without stress. The app, according to the firm, was created to enable church management establish and maintain personal contact with members. The firm says with the growing number of church members, seamless communication becomes even more important because with more people to carry along, more attention needs to be paid to the communication process and strategy. Yet, communication is one of the major challenges in the church today. This challenge leads to an emotional disconnect between church management and its members. “ARPPY is designed as a response to the rising challenge of emotional disconnect between church management and members. It taps into periodic messaging (monthly, weekly or daily messages), birthdays/anniversaries messaging, devotionals, first-timer messaging, automated messaging, etc to strengthen loose emotional ties. “Now churches can extend the hand of fellowship beyond the church auditorium and into the everyday lives of members. With ARPPY, churches can send daily devotionals to members to enable them grow in their walk and relationship with God. The automated birthday/anniversary messaging function ensures that every member on the database receives a message on their birthday/anniversary and the church management gets reminder about such special days. “Churches can also send automated periodic messages (like monthly, weekly or daily messages) and general information to members through multi-channels (SMS, Email and Social media channels all at once) so they can be doubly sure their members receive the messages. ARPPY has a database function which enables you to create, update and manage your contacts, as many as they may be. It also has a cloud system of storage which ensures that the database is secure and accessible to from anywhere in the globe. “ Church administrators can get the app free of charge, by simply visiting www.arppy.com to create a free account.
