The Youth Action Summit is designed to “gather talented youth to share ideas, collaborate, and design actionable strategies for the most pressing global issues like climate change, sustainable development, and technological innovation.” Fellows will also be opportune to explore Italy, its cuisine, and its culture. A total of 250 applicants from different parts of the globe will be gathered for the event. The 250 seats will be categorized into:
- 50 fully funded seats
- 100 partially funded seats
- 100 seats for forum access only

To be considered eligible for the program:
- It is a program open to people from every part of the globe.
- IELTS is not relevant for the application.
- The applicant can apply from any academic background.
- Students and young leaders between the ages of 16 and 45 from every region and background can apply.

Some of the benefits of the program include:
- Fellows under the fully funded seats will receive visa support, airfare, accommodation, an invitation letter, conference access, meals during the conference, and merchandise.
- Fellows who are partially funded will receive accommodation, conference access, meals during the conference, and merchandise.
- Fellows categorized under the forum access will have access to the forum hosted by the Centre for Diplomatic Advancement (CDA), meals, and certification.
- Candidates who are unable to gain the scholarship will join the self-funded category and cover their expenses in the program.
