It aims to support startups in the seed or growth phase and to promote partnerships with the AGL. “Accelerate” is focused on startups that have been well structured with a reputable identity and business model and possibly a first customer base. Businesses in the logistics, rail and port, and maritime sectors are given priority, but projects from other sectors such as cybersecurity, HR tech, edtech, fintech, greentech, legathech, mobitech, and digital services are also accepted. At the end of the program, strategic partnerships will be struck, and selected businesses will be guaranteed access to potential investors and partners in Africa or outside the continent.

Being a major player in the logistics industry, AGL is dedicated to remaining at the forefront of technological innovation. In light of this, AGL created Yiri, the technological innovation centre of the company in Abidjan responsible for the stimulation of innovation among its employees, universities, and customers, while also supporting the growth and development of African startups.

Who can apply for the Yiri “Accelerate” program?
- Startups based in Africa or targeting Africa.
- You must be present during the six months of the program.
- The applicant must not be part of a parallel program.
- The applicant already has a product that is in the growth or expansion phase.
- Your product is innovative and capable of digitalizing or transforming the activities of the AGL.
