The United Nations Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) Youth is inviting applications for its 2025 Local Pathways Fellowship. It is a global program designed to “empower passionate young individuals committed to advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in their local communities.”

The Local Pathways Fellowship is a unique platform for youth leaders to gain knowledge, network, and implement transformative projects aimed at addressing pressing global challenges.

To be considered eligible for the program:

The program is open to a diverse cohort of young leaders from various parts of the globe.

  • The applicant must be between the ages of 18 and 30 years.
  • You must demonstrate a strong commitment towards sustainability and the SDGs.
  • You should be experienced in urban planning, community development, or related fields.
  • The applicant must possess exceptional communication and project management skills.
  • You must be willing to dedicate approximately 10 hours every week to the fellowship activities.

  • Empower youth leaders with the skills and knowledge to effectively tackle sustainability challenges.
  • Encourage the local implementation of the SDGs through innovative and context-specific projects.
  • Connect fellows with like-minded individuals, organizations, and experts at the global level.
  • Amplify and enhance the impact of projects executed by fellows.
