  SMEs or startups in Nigeria seeking funding, mentorship, and business support can apply for the StarNews, USAID, and GBEF Business Competition in partnership with MTN for Nigerian entrepreneurs.

To be eligible for the program:

  1. The business must be 50% Nigerian-owned and operated.
  2. Businesses must be registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) in Nigeria.
  3. Business activities must be taking place in Africa.
  4. A business must have a web or social media presence with at least 1,000 followers.
  5. The business must have been operating for at least two years.
  6. Businesses must be making a positive impact on Africa and contributing to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
