Digital Skills Empowerment Program is designed to provide “young graduates with cutting-edge training in high-demand technologies such as Kubernetes, DevOps, Java, C#, .NET Core, and Software Testing and Automation.” The program ensures the combination of hands-on learning with professional certification to equip participants with the necessary skills to thrive in Nigeria’s evolving digital economy.

The Acting Chief Executive Officer of Stanbic IBTC Holdings, Dr Kunle Adedeji, outlines the success of the program:
- “Since its inception in 2021, DiSEP has empowered hundreds of graduates to build rewarding careers in fields like software engineering, data analysis, and cloud computing. These individuals have not only advanced professionally but also contributed to their communities.”

It is a program open to 200 participants who meet the eligibility criteria:
- The applicant must hold at least a second-class lower honours degree in Information Technology or Engineering.
- The applicant must also hold a valid National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) discharge certificate.
