The Ogun State TVET Scholarship program is an initiative of the Ogun State Government in collaboration with the World Bank via the Ogun State Economic Transformation Project (OGSTEP) and is aimed at admitting 1,000 girls into technical colleges. It is also part of efforts to improve economic opportunities and financial independence among women, as the scholarship will cover expenses for girls who enrol in any of the eight government science and technical colleges in Ogun State for technical trade.

To be eligible for the program
The applicant must be willing to enrol in any of the following programs:- Agricultural Mechanics
- Blocklaying and Concreting
- Carpentry and Joinery
- Computer Craft Practice
- Electrical Installation and Maintenance
- Fabrication and Welding
- Furniture Craft
- Painting and Decoration
- Plumbing and Pipe Fitting
- Printing Craft
- Footwear Leather Trade
- Auto-Mechanic
- Mechanical Craft

The benefits of the program include
- It covers textbooks, equipment, and stipends for three years.
- Fellows selected are awarded a sum of N150,000 per session.
- Hands-on training for selected students.
- Selected students will also enjoy a quality industry experience.
