Apart from a monthly salary base of 3 780.34 EUR for the Young Associate, he/she will also be exempt from the French income tax and earn other allowances based on eligibility.
To be eligible for the program
- The OECD Young Associate Program applicant must hold an undergraduate degree in environmental policy, economics, public policy, political science, science and management, or any other related discipline. He/she must have graduated between January 1, 2024, and September 1, 2025. Applicants who already hold a master’s Ph.D. or equivalent degree will not be considered.
- The applicant must have done coursework in two of the following areas:
- Natural Resources Governance/Management

- Climate Geopolitics
- Biodiversity Management.
- The applicant must demonstrate a strong understanding of today’s environmental challenges.
- You must be excellent in written and oral English.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- The applicant must be fluent in one of the OECD’s working languages (English and French).
