A centre of focus for youth in the local and global space, the Youth Development Centre is focused on incubating ideas and developing skills aimed at enhancing the leadership capacity of young Africans and building their value system to connect them with opportunities.

The Obasanjo Presidential Youth Mentorship Retreat aims to equip young Africans, aged 18 to 35, with leadership and management skills, empowering them to drive positive change in their communities and countries.

To be eligible for the program

  • The applicant must be between the ages of 18 and 35.
  • The applicant must be an African national.
  • The applicant must demonstrate willingness to participate in the retreat between November 10 and 13, 2024.
  • The applicant must demonstrate strong leadership qualities.
