  As part of its commitment to showcase science and empower developers, Meta has launched the Meta Llama (Large Language Model Meta AI) Impact Innovation Awards. It is a program aimed at helping developers drive breakthroughs, design new products and solutions, and gain from accelerations in economic growth and technological advancement.

Apply for the Meta Llama if you leverage the Llama to drive social impact and are based in Africa, Turkey, or the Middle East. They can win awards of up to $35,000 in the program.

To be eligible for the program:

  1. Your organisation must be based in Africa, the Middle East, or Turkey.
  2. Applicants must demonstrate how Llama addresses relevant issues in their areas of operation.
  3. Applicants must prove how Llama can improve learning outcomes.
  4. Applicants can include but are not limited to, how the government can be made transparent, accountable, and efficient through the use of Llama.
  5. Applicants should be able to demonstrate how Llama can be utilized in the area of public peace and security, tackle fraud, and protect the interests of vulnerable populations.
  6. Applicants should apply Llama to improve health outcomes.
