The Lafarge Skills Development Training is an 18-month non-residential technical intensive training, and successful applicants will be opportune to enjoy free-tuition lectures, hands-on training sessions, and a token allowance to offset other expenses. Suitably qualified Ordinary National Diploma holders are advised to apply for the Lafarge Skills Development Training, which entails multiple skills vocational training that covers the following technical disciplines:
- Maintenance Processes, i.e., mechanical/electrical/instrumentation and automation/welding and fabrication technology.
- Cement Manufacturing Processes, i.e., Production, Process, and Quality.

To be eligible for the program
- The applicant must have completed an Ordinary National Diploma program from a recognized academic institution in Nigeria not earlier than 2021.
- The applicant must hold a minimum of 5 O’level credits in key subjects such as English Language and Mathematics. Physics, Chemistry, and any other subject (in a maximum of 2 sittings).
Some of the benefits of the program include
- The training is aimed at making participants entrepreneurs or employable.
- The training is free, as tuition and other expenses are catered for.
- Successful candidates will be issued the Lafarge Internal Certificate after the program.

The training will be held in three locations within Nigeria:- Ewekoro, Ogun State
- Mfamosing, Cross River State
- Ashaka, Gombe State
