The International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA), supported by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Nigeria, is implementing the ‘Youth in Agribusiness: Enabling scaling of innovative technologies for sustainable food solutions’ (YAS) project.

The YAS initiative focuses on educating young people between 18 and 35 years old about opportunities within agricultural commodity value chains. The program caters to two groups: newcomers to agriculture (Incubators) and established farmers looking to expand their operations (Accelerators).

If you’re a young person interested in agriculture, particularly yam cultivation in Ibadan, this opportunity is designed for you! IITA, CGIAR, in collaboration with CEID HUB, is offering complimentary training focused on Leave Bud Technology for Rapid Multiplication of Producing Seed Yam – an innovative, practical approach to seed yam production through vine cutting techniques.
