  In a bid to achieve its objective of providing cutting-edge technology and innovative training to members of the civic society and other actors, the HumAngle Foundation has launched the HumAngle Technology and Civic Impact Fellowship.

The HumAngle Technology and Civic Impact Fellowship will help selected professionals engage in actionable advocacy and accountability in public institutions by leveraging technology. It targets activists, journalists, and civil society members from the six geopolitical zones of Nigeria with a proven record of excellence. It is a two-phased model program. The initial phase consists of a five-day in-person training program in Abuja, and the second phase entails a 3-month post-training period to help participants practice what they have learned.

To be eligible for the program

  1. You must be between the ages of 21 and 35.
  2. You must be a resident of Nigeria.
  3. You must have at least two years of experience in impactful journalism, tech, research and data, public policy, advocacy, and humanitarian activities.
  4. You must be employed by a reputable organization or affiliated with one.
  5. You must be interested in leveraging technology for societal impact.

  1. Mentorship opportunities during the duration of the fellowship.
  2. Access to a community of actors in civil society across the six geopolitical zones of Nigeria and professional resources.
  3. Projects will be featured and published on HumAngle Media.
