With a strong emphasis on food security through increased youth participation, the “Green Money Project” is also designed to “address various constraints hindering youth to effectively participate in agriculture and to empower them through re-orientation, capacity building, incentives, and support for Agro-businesses and value chain development.”

To be eligible for the program

  • The applicant must be a Nigerian citizen resident in any of the 36 states of Nigeria or the Federal Capital Territory.
  • The applicant must be between the ages of 18-40 years old.
  • The applicant must have completed secondary school education.
  • The applicant must demonstrate a strong interest or experience in agriculture or agribusiness.
  • You must be willing to participate in training programs and workshops.
  • You must demonstrate interest in developing or expanding an agricultural business.
  • The applicant should have basic computer and smartphone skills.
  • The applicant must be physically capable of engaging in agricultural activities.
  • You must not have previously benefited from a similar government agricultural program.
  • You must have a valid means of identification, such as a national ID, voter’s card, international passport, or others.
