The Elevate Africa Pan-African Career Fellowship is designed to set the pace in elevating the African continent’s self-perception and global image by promoting innovation, collaboration, and authentic representation. The strategic objectives of the program include:
  • Leadership Development and Capacity Building
  • Redefining African narratives
  • Promoting African Solutions
  • Building a Global Network
  • Producing thoughtful leadership
Elevate Africa is interested in bridging the gap between “Africa’s past and present, redefining its narrative, and addressing key Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) such as quality education, gender equality, economic growth, climate action, and partnerships for development.” There is a strong need to elevate Africa to its rightful place in the globe through strategic investments aimed at educating and empowering the continent’s youthful leadership talent while paving the way for transformation and integration. The Elevate Africa Pan-African Career Fellowship will cut across the following phases of empowerment:
  • Global Ambassadorship Programme
  • Pan-African Career Fellowship Program
  • Catalyst Initiative Programme

Features of the program include:

  • Participants will be part of workshops, lectures, and seminars where experts will engage them in interactive sessions on topical issues surrounding the SDGs, media literacy, leadership, and policy advocacy.
  • Fellows will carry out innovative projects as individuals or as part of a group that is aimed at achieving and executing the vision of Elevate Africa.
  • Fellows will be opportune to learn and connect with global experts, leaders, and influencers through panel sessions, fireside chats, industry nights, and more.
  • Fellows will be taught how to utilize the media in amplifying positive African narratives and advocating for change.
  • Fellows will present their research findings, work, and lessons in a capstone project after the program.
