  The Association of Commonwealth Universities is inviting applications for the Commonwealth Climate Resilience Challenge Grants. This is a program created to empower ACU member universities towards driving climate-resilient initiatives.

Through grants, projects can be led by academic and professional staff towards supporting the strategic priorities of the Commonwealth Climate Resilience Network (CCRN), which include:
  • Enhancing the resilience of universities themselves.
  • Boosting universities’ role in community, business, and governmental resilience.

Features of the program include

  • The program is open to staff members of ACU member universities.
  • Three available grants, each up to GBP 3,500.
  • Applications must be submitted online.
  • Applicants are advised to collaborate with other ACU member institutions to promote Commonwealth partnerships.

  • Proposals that involve partnerships with non-ACU institutions will also be considered.
  • Special consideration is given to applications that include matching or supplementary funds from the applicant’s institution.
