Scholars for the African Economic Scholars Program are highly skilled undergraduates in their penultimate or final years pursuing a degree in economics, international relations, political science, and other related courses.
The participants possess a range of abilities and have a track record of excellence in academic performance, involvement in extracurricular activities, and professional endeavours.

It is a program that will enable participants to gain a thorough understanding of the position of policymakers and the relevance of developing wholly.
Scholars will be trained for two months on research, policymaking, and professional and personal development and will be opportune to publish their capstone project.

At the completion of the program, exceptional scholars will be placed on a two-month internship with partner firms (think tanks) to enable them to gain practical insights into policymaking and advocacy.
