The Patoraking Foundation, founded by Nigerian musician Patrick Okorie, popularly known as Patoraking, is a non-profit organization with the aim of advancing Africa through education, empowerment, and entrepreneurship. In a bid to achieve its mission, the foundation partnered with leading tech training platform ALX to launch the scholarship program. The Patoraking Foundation Tech Scholarship will train 40 individuals who are tech-savvy and expose them to programs in data analytics, cloud computing, and Salesforce Administration that are technologically transformative. Selected participants will be trained to become Africa’s next generation of tech pioneers. Over the past six years, the Foundation has invested more than $1 million in the education of African youth. The introduction of the $500,000 tech scholarship is a significant step towards achieving the aims of the organization.

Candidates for the program must be changemakers in their local community. They will be opportune to get internship positions at global leading tech companies to cut the gap between theory and reality.
To be eligible for the program:
- You must be tech-savvy.
- You must be a youth between the ages of 18 and 34.
- Candidates must complete the ALX admissions process and be accepted into an ALX tech program.
- Submit a separate application for the Patoraking Foundation Tech Scholarship.

What You Must Know
- The program is free.
- Participants will be selected after a thorough review of application videos and essays.
- Selected applicants can choose to learn remotely or physically at any of the offices of ALX in Africa (Lagos, Cairo, Johannesburg, Nairobi, Addis Ababa, or Kigali).
