The NNPC/Oando Graduate Acceleration Program is designed to equip recent graduates with strong potential to become leaders with the skills to strengthen the local oil and gas pipeline in the long term. The 18-month program is structured to allow fellows to partake in experiential learning from some of the leading industry experts in order to prepare them for careers in the sector.

Some of the eligibility criteria include:
- The applicant must hold a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of second-class upper (2.1) in engineering, geosciences, business administration, or economics.
- The applicant must not be older than 26 years as of January 1, 2025.
- The applicant must have completed the mandatory NYSC scheme by April 2025.
- The applicant must possess not more than two years of work experience.
- The applicant must have obtained a minimum of five (5) B’s and two (2) C’s in WASCCE, SSCE, or GCE O-Level in one sitting, including Mathematics and English Language.
