The Women’s Technology Empowerment Centre has announced the start of registration for the 2015 W.TEC Girls Technology Camp.
Themed “Geeky Divas – Grooming ICTpreneurs”, the two-week bootcamp is targeted at students between the ages of 13 and 17 in middle school and high school.
In a release made available to TechCabal, the organisation said the camp will be accepting 40 girls for the programme and will expose them to Alice Programming, Mobile Application Designing (using App Inventor), Digital Video Production, other tools like Mind-map, blogger, Social Media, and Excursions to technology companies.
The two-week programme will cost N 50,000 ($251) per student which will cover tuition, feeding, boarding, educational resources and excursions. W. TEC also stated that there will be Scholarships for public schools.
