IT’S the end of the 3rd quarter of the year, and we have seen all the major flagships of the year, except that from Apple. Tech analysts and reporters have waited for the announcement and subsequent release of the next iPhone and Apple has finally announced the event which will be held next Wednesday, September 7th at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco. The event will begin at 10:00 AM PDT and will be streamed on Apple’s website as well as Apple TV.
There’s high expectation for the announcement of the iPhone7/7plus duo. The smaller iPhone 7 will spot a 4.7inch screen, while the iPhone7plus will feature a 5.5inch screen size. Both devices will supposedly be losing the 3.5mm headset jack for a wireless audio output, or using the lightning connector. We are not yet sure how the millions of iPhone users will react to the change. Both devices will supposedly ship with iOS 10, and have lots of improvements in display quality, camera, battery, storage and so on. We also expect to see a new Apple watch and maybe some info on the next generation of Apple’s MacBook line.
We also don’t expect to see much difference between the iPhone 7/7Plus duo and the iPhone 6S/6SPlus duo as Apple Inc. plans to break with its recent pattern of overhauling the design of its flagship iPhone every two years, and make only subtle changes in the models it will release this fall.
