Afrinolly is an app for movie enthusiasts to stream African movies and videos on their mobile devices.
Chike Maduegbuna is the mastermind behind the Afrinolly app. He was inspired to build the app after two members of his team participated in a two-day event organized by Google. The pair got insights into the necessity of an app that would cover all African-related entertainment issues.
Afrinolly was launched in
August 2011. Barely two months later, the app won the Google’s first
Android Developers Challenge for Sub-Saharan Africa.
What It Offers
Afrinolly gives you access to a host of African movies, Nollywood movies, Trailers, Music videos and more on your android phone. You can also save movies for offline viewing and you can resume from where you stopped on a movie if your device loses connectivity.
Getting The App:
The app is available for free on APK and is compatible with Android versions 4.1 and above. It’s size is 20.8 MB.
