With the deadline for the enrolment of the National Identification Number (NIN) just as a few days away, the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) has launched a mobile app to make the enrolment process easier for Nigerians.

The NIMC mobile app allows users forgo physical cards and instead access their National Identity Card online via their smartphones, as well as print it.
How The NIMC Mobile App Works
To be able to use the app, you must have enrolled with the NIMC and registered for a National Identification Number (NIN) before using the app.
You can visit any NIMC branch nationwide to enrol for the National Identification Number. Enrolment is free.

How To Access Your National ID Number With The NIMC App
The NIMC app is available for both Android and iPhone devices. Download the app and launch it on your phone.Sign up to the Connect Nigeria daily newsletter
Enter your National Identity Number (NIN). If you’ve forgotten it, you can receive it by dialling *346# from the phone line you registered it with.
Enter your registered phone number. The app will display your National Identity Card (NIN), which includes your digital ID number.Getting The App
